Ok so first thoughts on Innistrad....
Well it's good & I suck at it... but thankfully Our local undefeated Champion is going to write a bit of a guide later this week...
I did come up with some opinions though so here goes...
Firstly Use dark colour or more expensive sleeves unless you want to announce your transforming plans to your opponents...
I was right about the triggers, hands went up all day ....
Don't build a 3 colour combo mill recursion control deck.... (I tell myself this every Pre release and one day I'll listen...)
My recommendation for first draft pick is
There is ZERO removal and you'll probably spend most of your games trading 2/2's until someone drops their bomb...

Ludevic's Test Subject This card is the nuts...
Gavony Township is insane in sealed There is ZERO removal and you'll probably spend most of your games trading 2/2's until someone drops their bomb...

Back to magic for a change...Innistrad Prerelease Weekend
Double sided cards? what is this madness?
I shall be reporting throughout the weekend... follow me on Twitter if you'd like to recieve humourous, but generally bad advice on the day...
I can exclusively reveal that the judging fraternity are "bricking it" over the the new transform rule.
I personally reckon it's going to basically lead to lots of warnings as confused players miss trigger after trigger... (in fact if you really, really, really want to win some games this weekend... learn the transform trggers from the spoilers here

Today I was accosted by these guys...
The Health and Safety Nazi's
They are a Daily Mail cliche, but despite being a household name, a swift trawl through the search engines unearthed no photo-fits. So we at Adventures in the Meta thought we'd bring you our first Viral.
Please feel free to pass it on...

Fighting crime, rasing hell, steam punk and the decline of pop music...
These are all issues I have faced today. I have decided that dominating and indeed simply participating in, the local and national worlds of Magic the Gathering are no longer enough fuel for this fire.
Now don't get me wrong, there aren't many things I relish more than a well placed fireball or indeed a sneaky elf and come on guys who can argue with that? It's true that there is space in the world for the odd hot tub session with the odd fairy queen and in my experience most of them are. So this is no more a retreat than a surrender it's a hiatus a stone rain check whilst I spend a little time pursuing my journalistic and musical dreams (and maybe that Ruben-esque girl in the college canteen,)
Don't fret though my faithful and fearless followers we shall return often to the game of kings and I may even post some of my legendary secret 'Jedi tricks', feared through-out the Hove and Portslade area for their devastating power,
